Blood Drive

Our next blood drive is on December 12, 2007.

NHS is sponsoring Mountain View's first ever in-school blood drive on October 26th, 2006.

Qualifications

If you are 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds you are eligible to donate.

Please stop by the office or Mrs. Easter's room (507) to pick up a parent permission slip that must be signed and returned in order to donate. Return you signed parent permission slip to Mrs. Easter or at the sign up table this week (October 10-13) during all lunch shifts.

John Keenan and Jessica W. should be contacted for more information, as they are coordinating the blood drive. They also need to know if you plan to give blood.

Update - Results

The first bood drive was a huge success! Inova Blood Donor Services was able to collect 55 units of blood from our donors. This is outstanding for a first drive! Thanks to everyone who donated and volunteered to work the drive. A big thanks to the staff at MVHS! We appreciated your flexibility during the day! We are looking forward to our next blood drive on April 19. Our goal is to beat our fall record of 55 units! Help us reach that goal!
